What we repair
Most plumbing calls aren't dramatic. They're the small things that slowly get expensive: a drip that runs up the water bill, a slow leak that soaks a cabinet floor, a toilet that fills itself every twenty minutes all night. We fix those. We fix the big ones too.
Gary is a Licensed Master Plumber, so the person diagnosing the problem is the person who knows what it should look like when it's done.
- Leaking pipes and fittings, under sinks, in crawlspaces, behind walls
- Dripping faucets: worn cartridges, stems, seats, and seals
- Running, rocking, or weak-flushing toilets: flappers, fill valves, wax rings
- Burst and frozen pipes, including crawlspace and outside lines
- Low water pressure at one fixture or the whole house
- Stuck, corroded, or leaking shutoff valves
- Sump pumps and utility sink hookups
- Outdoor spigots, hose bibs, and frost-free hydrants
Before Gary arrives
If water is actively coming out, the first job is stopping it. Here's what to do while you wait on us.
1. Find the main shutoff
On a well, it's usually near the pressure tank: crawlspace, basement, or a utility closet. On town water, it's typically where the line enters the house. Turn it clockwise until it stops.
2. Or just that fixture
If it's one sink or one toilet, use the small valve under the sink or behind the toilet. That keeps water on for the rest of the house.
3. On a well, kill the pump
Flip the breaker for the well pump. No pump, no pressure, no more water coming out. That's the fastest stop if you can't find or turn the valve.
4. Then call or text
(804) 432-4000. Tell Gary what you're seeing and where. A photo helps if you've got signal. If a frozen pipe is the worry, shut the main first. A split pipe only shows itself when it thaws.
Why owner-operated matters
Call a bigger outfit and you talk to a dispatcher, then a scheduler, then whoever is on the truck that day. Call Wright Touch and you talk to Gary. He answers the phone. He shows up. He does the work.

Where we work
